Edward E. Boyton House (1908), Rochester, New York
Frank Lloyd Wright house almost live-in ready [Rochester Democrat and Chronicle]
Fran Cosentino and Jane Parker consider themselves temporary stewards of history.
For the past two and a half years, the couple oversaw the restoration of their dream home: the Edward E. Boynton House at 16 East Blvd., built by architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
“This is a home worth saving, not just for the community, but for the world,” Parker says.
Next week, the house will be opened for the first time since the renovation began. The Landmark Society of Western New York will host an invitation-only reception there to celebrate its 75th anniversary. (more)
